Lets start with the fact that everyone involved in online marketing should be building an email list. This has been common knowledge for a long time but now it's critical now.
LAWS REGARDING EMAIL MARKETING WILL BE CHANGING SOON.
That's why my focus will be on building an email list. If you look at the present landscape in all the new laws coming about today and then look at the new California law standards set for 2020, I for see an even greater restriction coming. If California set a standard the rest of the country is sure to follow. But ultimately it doesn't matter because what any state or country does affects every single person because google, facebook will be required to comply if they want that region to participate in the Internet.
At any rate I believe that there will be far more reaching laws in acted by then and if not laws, then regulation by Google, Facebook as well as all the other ad networks.
The one thing that is sure to happen, is that the cost to build an email list will skyrocket and it will become unattainable for the average person.
So if you every have plans on building an email list know is the time. Don't Wait.
I think that most people don't realize it, but when marketers say the money is in the list, they aren't kidding. Most sales made online are done directly through email. I think most people have become numb to the saying “the money is in the list”. IN my opinion that if you don't do it soon, it will become nearly impossible later or at the very least impractical.
I also believe that this is the reason why most people fail with Building long term sustainable income with online marketing. Building a list sounds easy, but it's definitely not. Regardless of what they tell you. I will cover more about this in another post.
